ANNOUNCEMENT-DETAILS OF LD NEXT WEEK
Time : 3.30pm
Venue : Drama studio

Attendance taking, briefing on other matters [by LD comm] and teachers [if there's any update].

Sec 1s to remain in drama studio for their session with Benjamin

Sec 2-3s to proceed to Forum [no other place available due to "O" level oral exam]

Reminders :
  • each group to bring their material for CIP [a copy of script/poems] and their ideas for the warm up games
  • not to make too much noise at forum ["O" level oral exam]

3.45pm - 4.15pm : Presentation of CIP ideas [games, scripts, poems, etc...] by each group

4.15pm - 4. 30pm : Group huddle to finalise ideas after feedback [i.e. instructions for games, preparation for material, etc...]

4.30pm - 5.10pm: Discussion of LD showcase [theme / name, design of flyers/posters, suggested programme flow, other ideas to raise funds, etc...]

5.10pm - 5.30pm : Presentation of ideas by each group

As the forum is warm and we want to reduce the noise, LD members would be released by 5.30pm if everyone contributes actively to the discussion and make it a productive session.

whatever you have to say, gossip sessions you may want to indulge in, keep it to lunch! not during LD :) thank you for your cooperation in advance:)

ELDDS 2009 CIP @ Little Arts Academy

Date : 29th August 2009 [Saturday, Term 3 Week 9]
Time : (Not confirmed)
Target audience : 20 primary 4 – 6 children of mixed drama and language abilities

Academy’s requests :
· Be sensitive to some children’s background
· Develop their use of space and physicality [enhance their drama skills]
· Engage shy children and help to control noisy ones

Meeting point : (time not confirmed), AMK MRT station taxi-stand
Arrival point : 5.30pm, AMK MRT station

Programme:

14 00 -14 30 Ice Breakers
I/C: Ld Members

14 30 – 1500 Writestuff and poetry slam performances
I/C: Selected Groups

1500 -1600 Group Performances (With Children)
Instructions:
- Divide into 5 groups
- Each group is to work with the children on an existing script [suitable for them] and ‘perform’ the script to the other groups
-Each group is also to perform a poem as a beginning or end to their presentation
